I started writing because stories in my head kept me up at night. As an avid reader of thrillers, suspense, and family sagas, I was convinced I could write my own. Once I started, I couldn’t stop. The journey hasn’t been easy, and I’ve been humbled by it, learning from readers, editors, and fellow writers. This page gives you a glimpse into that journey and an opportunity to review my work, enjoy!
Meet the Author
Hi, I’m Maddie! I’ve loved writing all my life, from writing cardboard books in elementary school to submitting prompts as an escape from stress. My work draws from the many cities and states I’ve lived in up and down the East Coast, working and living abroad, personal struggles managing type 1 diabetes, infertility, IVF, and life.
Now I’m navigating being a working mom and raising biracial children in a world that demands individuality but labels everything. I currently reside in Winchester, Massachusetts, with my two kids, husband, and dog, Izzie. By day, I conduct market research to make digital products more patient-friendly, and by night, I dive into my creative cave. I’m looking for a way to blend my passions for art, healthcare, and family.
